Fiona has wide ranging experience having completed locum roles in Ireland, England and even Swaziland in South Africa! She has worked in fully private practices in London as well as led the team of dentists at a Boots Dental Practice in London. Fiona was also the in-house dentist at Marks & Spencers Head Office in London.
You will find Fiona has a relaxing and highly professional style and her considerable experience means she can advise on and provide the whole range of restorative and cosmetic dentistry available today.

Neil began working at HO McCann Practice in Ballymena. Hence Neil has a strong commitment to his patients in the Ballymena region.
Neil has an enviable reputation for high quality restorative and cosmetic work as well as providing sedation to the more anxious patient and is a member of the Society for Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry.
In his spare time Neil is a member of the Ballymena Wine Society as well as enjoying squash and being an advanced open water diver. Ask him for a game of chess as he knows his moves here too!

After graduating, Rita worked in a very busy, progressive practice in the north east of England, before returning home to Northern Ireland in 1998. For the past 10 years, Rita has been working in Ballymena. Almost 8 of those years have been spent as a partner in Smiles Dental Care.
Rita has gained considerable knowledge and experience in many areas of dentistry through comprehensive post graduate training over the past 15 years.
When not running around a busy dental practice, Rita spends her time running the roads and entering the occasional marathon!

After graduating Suzanne completed a year in the Lake District, England before working for a year in a Oral and Malxillofacial surgery and then community and special needs dentistry placements in Edinburgh, Scotland. After working and travelling in Australia, Suzanne moved back to Northern Ireland to work in a Family Practice in Portadown before joining Smiles.
In her spare time Suzanne enjoys sporting activities especially skiing and water-sports, travelling and photography.

Eve qualified at Queens University Belfast in 2014 before moving to Newcastle Upon Tyne to work. She returned home and took a post in a busy NHS practice in Limavady.
She joined the Smiles team in November 2019 and is enjoying her time in Ballymena. She has a keen interest in facial aesthetics which she will be offering in the practice.
In her spare time, Eve likes travelling, exercising and spending time with her family.

Known as Jill, Jill qualified from Queen’s University Belfast in 2017, she carried out her VT year in Kilkeel, before moving to Larne to work in a busy NHS practice.
She joined the Smiles team in September 2019, and is enjoying working within the team at the practice.
In her spare time, Jill likes to sing and is part of the Belfast Operatic Company, she also to spend her free time travelling.

Laura qualified as a Dental Hygienist and Therapist from the University of Dundee in 2011. Laura carries out a range of treatments such as hygiene treatments, taking x rays, providing fillings and tooth whitening.
Laura loves meeting new people, and prides herself on teaching and encouraging how to improve oral health. She does this by working together with patients to develop and maintain an effective home care oral hygiene routine, based on the products that are tailored to them.
She believes in the mantra we are never too old to learn something new!
Away from work, Laura enjoys travelling, exercise, good food and a good cup of coffee!
BA (hons) Business with Computing 2011
Upon graduating in 2011 Wahib decided to move to Belgium to work and gain valuable experience. After finding his feet in a new country and surroundings Wahib started using his knowledge of marketing and customer service by managing and running a succesful business. Fast forward 7 years and Wahib has moved back to NI to join the smiles team and put all his knowlededge and experience into our team here.
In Wahib's freetime he enjoys attending the gym, watching football and adding to his list of places travelled throughout the world.
Therese has been part of the Smiles team since 2013. Therese started off as an LDU nurse before working her way up through the management channels.
Therese enjoys the patient care side of the job and gets on very well with all the patients as well as her team.
In her spare time Therese loves spending time with her two sons - which keep her on her toes when she’s not at the practice!

Kate joined the practice in November 2018, she has been a dental nurse since 2005.
Kate is very committed to her job and loves getting to know all the patients. She has a keen interest in surgicals and loves working in a team.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, friends and her cat Lulu.

Rebecca joined the practice in in May 2018, just three weeks before her Wedding day and took no time in settling right in. Originally from Bleary, Co.Armagh, Rebecca moved to Coleraine in 2011 where she began her career in dentistry.
In her spare time she volunteers as a Girls Brigade Officer so it’s no surprise that she is very chatty and personable. Since joining the team she has added a new depth of experience and works mainly along side Neil Tweedie, one of our senior clinicians.
A keen multitasker, Rebecca spends her Mondays working with both patients and clinicians to fulfil her Treatment Coordinator role, using her wealth of experience to provide patients with tailored treatment plans to meet their individual needs and circumstances.
During her time off you'll find her either shopping and dining or in her dog walking gear with her two pups, Gunner and Luna.

Danielle has been working as a Dental Nurse since April 2005 and joined the Smiles Dentalcare team in March 2017.
Danielle enjoys all aspects of nursing and loves being part of such a great team.

Shauna has been working as a dental nurse since March 2017 and qualified in the summer of 2018.
Shauna enjoys all aspects of the job and being part of the smiles team.

Amy has been working as a dental nurse since 2016 and joined the Smiles team in 2019.
Amy is always keen to gain more experience through nursing courses, and loves working as part of a team.
In her spare time, she loves going to the gym and travelling around the world.
Trainee Dental Nurse
Keighlea joined the Smiles team in February 2018. Keighlea worked in as a support worker before deciding she wanted a challenging career within the dental industry.
She has recently started her National Diploma in Dental Nursing and is working towards becoming a registered Dental Nurse. Once she has achieved this Keighlea would like to further her career by gaining more experience through additional nursing courses.
In her spare time, Keighlea likes to socialise with family and friends.
Trainee dental nurse
Krystal joined the Smiles team in December 2019.
Krystal started her dental nursing career for the NHS and worked for a year in Whiteabbey. She is still in training and is hoping to be fully qualified by March 2020.
In her spare time, she enjoys going kayaking and going out for walks with her dog.

Carlane is one of the longest members of the Smiles team and has a wide range of knowledge both in the surgery and on reception. Carlane started out as a dental nurse before moving to reception and most recently has become Lead Receptionist.
She loves meeting patients and helping them with their patient journey. In her spare time Carlane loves spending time with her family and her beloved dog Willow.
Sarah started her career working in Harry Corry's Head Office before joining the Smiles team in 2014. Sarah is one of the more experienced members of the Smiles team.
Her hard work ethic fits in perfect with her role within the Practice. In her freetime she spends all of her time with her two sons which keep her on her toes!
