Fiona has wide ranging experience having completed locum roles in Ireland, England and even Swaziland in South Africa! She has worked in fully private practices in London as well as led the team of dentists at a Boots Dental Practice in London. Fiona was also the in-house dentist at Marks & Spencers Head Office in London.
You will find Fiona has a relaxing and highly professional style and her considerable experience means she can advise on and provide the whole range of restorative and cosmetic dentistry available today.

Neil began working at HO McCann Practice in Ballymena. Hence Neil has a strong commitment to his patients in the Ballymena region.
Neil has an enviable reputation for high quality restorative and cosmetic work as well as providing sedation to the more anxious patient and is a member of the Society for Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry.
In his spare time Neil is a member of the Ballymena Wine Society as well as enjoying squash and being an advanced open water diver. Ask him for a game of chess as he knows his moves here too!

After graduating, Rita worked in a very busy, progressive practice in the north east of England, before returning home to Northern Ireland in 1998. For the past 10 years, Rita has been working in Ballymena. Almost 8 of those years have been spent as a partner in Smiles Dental Care.
Rita has gained considerable knowledge and experience in many areas of dentistry through comprehensive post graduate training over the past 15 years.
When not running around a busy dental practice, Rita spends her time running the roads and entering the occasional marathon!

After graduating Suzanne completed a year in the Lake District, England before working for a year in a Oral and Malxillofacial surgery and then community and special needs dentistry placements in Edinburgh, Scotland. After working and travelling in Australia, Suzanne moved back to Northern Ireland to work in a Family Practice in Portadown before joining Smiles.
In her spare time Suzanne enjoys sporting activities especially skiing and water-sports, travelling and photography.

Sarah has been working as a dental nurse since September 2012. Sarah started in a practice in Coleraine, joined the team Smiles team in March 2017 and progressed to Lead Nurse in February 2018. She loves working with her team of nurses and meeting all her patients.
In her spare time, Sarah loves listening to and playing music as well as spending time with family and friends.
BA (hons) Business with Computing 2011
Upon graduating in 2011 Wahib decided to move to Belgium to work and gain valuable experience. After finding his feet in a new country and surroundings Wahib started using his knowledge of marketing and customer service by managing and running a succesful business. Fast forward 7 years and Wahib has moved back to NI to join the smiles team and put all his knowlededge and experience into our team here.
In Wahib's freetime he enjoys attending the gym, watching football and adding to his list of places travelled throughout the world.
Dental Nurse/Treatment Coordinator

Rebecca joined the practice in in May 2018, just three weeks before her Wedding day and took no time in settling right in. Originally from Bleary, Co.Armagh, Rebecca moved to Coleraine in 2011 where she began her career in dentistry.
In her spare time she volunteers as a Girls Brigade Officer so it’s no surprise that she is very chatty and personable. Since joining the team she has added a new depth of experience and works mainly along side Neil Tweedie, one of our senior clinicians.
A keen multitasker, Rebecca spends her Mondays working with both patients and clinicians to fulfil her Treatment Coordinator role, using her wealth of experience to provide patients with tailored treatment plans to meet their individual needs and circumstances.
During her time off you'll find her either shopping and dining or in her dog walking gear with her two pups, Gunner and Luna.

Danielle has been working as a Dental Nurse since April 2005 and joined the Smiles Dentalcare team in March 2017.
Danielle enjoys all aspects of nursing and loves being part of such a great team.
In her spare time, Danielle likes to travel and spends her time with her friends and family.
Trainee Dental Nurse
Chloe has always had an interest in Dentistry from a young age. She completed her work experience in a dental practice in Coleraine and then went on to attend Belfast Metropolitan College in 2016 where she completed her National Diploma in Dental Nursing. She is currently waiting for one more exam before she becomes a qualified dental nurse.
Chloe joined the Smiles team in February 2018 after working in another dental practice in Coleraine for two years where she trained and gained her dental nursing knowledge. Chloe has also taken part in impression and sedation training within Portman and now also works with our Orthodontist once a week.
Chloe really enjoys dental nursing and loves learning new things within dentistry. She is excited to gain her qualification so she can complete further dental nursing courses like radiography and oral health education.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, particularly her younger sister Ivy. Chloe also enjoys going on holidays and in the future would like to spend some time travelling.
Trainee Dental Nurse
Keighlea joined the Smiles team in February 2018. Keighlea worked in as a support worker before deciding she wanted a challenging career within the dental industry.
She has recently started her National Diploma in Dental Nursing and is working towards becoming a registered Dental Nurse. Once she has achieved this Keighlea would like to further her career by gaining more experience through additional nursing courses.
In her spare time, Keighlea likes to socialise with family and friends.

Carlane is one of the longest members of the Smiles team and has a wide range of knowledge both in the surgery and on reception. Carlane started out as a dental nurse before moving to reception and most recently has become Lead Receptionist.
She loves meeting patients and helping them with their patient journey. In her spare time Carlane loves spending time with her family and her beloved dog Willow.
Sarah started her career working in Harry Corry's Head Office before joining the Smiles team in 2014. Sarah is one of the more experienced members of the Smiles team.
Her hard work ethic fits in perfect with her role within the Practice. In her freetime she spends all of her time with her two sons which keep her on her toes!
